Being on bike all day and putting a lot of miles, the bikes have be comfortable to sit on for prolonged time, but more importantly the engine has to be big enough to withstand the abuse. Even then, cops here aren’t patrolling on their bike. They use it to get around from one place/checkpoint/police box to another.
